We were delighted this week after being invited to The North West Britain In Bloom Awards at Bolton FC’s Toughsheet Community Stadium.
Our very our Bowersdale Resource Centre received a Neighbourhood Award of Level 3-Advancing for our beautiful Community Garden in the grounds of our Centre.
We are very proud of the achievements of the BRC team and our service users who spend hours each week making and keeping the garden looking beautiful. This project is only one year old and has become a huge favourite amongst our service users, who grow fruit, vegetables and flowers. We even have a small pond and wormery!
To be given a level 3 award is brilliant and is a real reward for the hard work that has gone into the garden over the last year.
