Expect Limited has recently launched its latest ‘Against the Odds’ booklet and campaign in the beautiful surroundings of Mamasan restaurant in Liverpool City Centre.
Expect’s Against the Odds booklet and campaign is a celebration of diversity in disability. It features interviews with some of our wonderful service users and staff giving an insight into the everyday life of the charity in 2022. Expect is passionate about providing a voice for people who may have felt excluded or marginalised and their campaign enables them to share their stories about living independently within their local communities, what they enjoy to do and how they continue to strive to live the lives that they choose to lead with Expect’s support.
A first event of its kind for Expect, service users, staff and the business community all came together to find out more about the charity and to listen to some of the people who took part in sharing their stories within the booklet.

“The launch of our Against the Odds campaign and booklet was an exciting and memorable night for Expect as we were able to showcase the importance of the work that we do with vulnerable adults across our local area.
It was great to see the impact that the personal stories of the individuals who we support had on our guests during the evening and I hope that the event will mark the beginning of us being able to promote and celebrate the importance of diversity in disability to a wider audience”.
Over £500 was raised on the night. Thank you to all who attended.
